Homer Township residents often travel to surrounding states, downtown or the metropolitan Chicago area on business or on vacation. On this page we've provided links to websites that offer weather and driving conditions in these areas.

Summer road construction projects, road closures and construction delays are often available. Winter driving conditions are especially useful when it snows.

Illinois Department of Transportation
IDOT provides road condition reports, weather and driving conditions in Illinois. The Chicago Area Expressway Congestion Map is interesting, but takes a while to download.

Wisconsin Department of Transportation
The best, and most often updated, report on road conditions in our sister state to the north.

Indiana Department of Transportation
Indiana DOT's page details detours and planned construction projects. No weather info is available at this time. 

Michigan Department of Transportation
Michigan DOT offers latest construction information but no weather at this time. Michigan's Get Around Guide is also on this page. An Adobe Acrobat version of the guide is available and can be downloaded.
